Academic Visits to PKU and Fudan
Dec-2025 Peking University, Beijing
The first week of December was spent at Peking University. Visiting the School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science felt meaningful, not only because of the academic atmosphere, but also because PKU carries a very distinctive sense of history and seriousness. The campus in early winter was quiet and clear, with old buildings, trees, and research spaces forming a calm background for conversations and exchange.
Dec-2025 Fudan University, Shanghai
The second week brought me to Fudan University in Shanghai. Compared with the winter feeling in Beijing, Fudan had a softer campus rhythm, with open lawns, water, trees, and warm sunlight around the buildings. Walking through the campus after meetings made the visit feel less like a short stop and more like a chance to understand another academic environment.
Dec-2025 Academic Visit Reflections
Putting PKU and Fudan together in the same trip made the two visits easier to compare and remember. One week was in Beijing, the other in Shanghai; one felt more northern and formal, the other more open and relaxed. Both visits were valuable because they connected research, campus life, and conversations with people in different academic communities.
