This spring visit to Nanjing moved between history, campus memories, and city views. From the tree-lined path toward Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum to the old streets around Confucius Temple, the city carried a steady sense of depth without feeling heavy.
The day also had a brighter side: fountains, open views from above the city, and warm streets full of people. Nanjing felt layered and calm, with history close by but daily life still moving naturally around it.
