Beijing and Tianjin Winter Visit

This winter trip brought me back to Beijing to meet old friends and revisit familiar places. It felt different from a planned sightseeing trip: quieter, warmer, and more personal. Walking through the city in December, the cold air made every conversation and every short reunion feel more memorable.
I also spent time in Tianjin, where the city felt open and bright along the water. The Haihe riverside, Century Clock, Tianjin Eye, lakeside pagodas, and sunset near the coast gave the trip a slower rhythm. Between old friendships in Beijing and the winter light in Tianjin, this short journey became a calm pause at the end of the year.
